WMCSMS
The West Midlands Councils Social Media Surgeries (WMCSMS for short) is a project born out of the Birmingham Social Media Surgeries programme. This programme is based upon helping Councillors across councils within the West Midlands engage more through social media, and therefore helping their communities even further.
It is entirely voluntary, and open with it’s plans and ideas.
If you are from a council within the West Midlands, please get in touch, we’re always willing to add more people to this, and help share our experiences, and ideas with you to get involved!
If you are already working on similar things, why not blog about it on this site, so we have a single point of reference for what’s going on in the region?
If you have enquiries about the WMCSMS, would like advice on setting up your own, or are interested in helping us train and support the elected members of the Council in using social media, then please email me.

All are held in the Council’s Civic Suite, from 6:00-7:30pm
